Mattel Asia Pacific region is made of 9 commercial offices and 7 manufacturing facilities across the region with in 10 different countries: Australia, China, Korea, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Thailand. These offices all work together under two main divisions: Global Supply Chain (Manufacturing Division) and Mattel International (Commercial Subsidiaries). Global Supply Chain (GSC) in APAC is confirmed by 3 organizations: Mattel Operation Asia (MOA), China Plants, and Southeast Asia (SEA). GSC division together is responsible for adding value in three key areas: Design & Development of Products for all Brands; Manufacture & Delivery of Finished Products from our Vendors; and Manage our Direct Import Business. Job Responsibilities :

  1. Manage, coordinate and control die cast manufacturing process and methods, monitor plant preparation which consistent with production capacity to ensure customer requirements and schedule, product quality and safety standards are achieved.
  2. Manage labor cost through the efective use of resources (man, machine, materials) to ensure efficiency and attaining labor rate prediction.

  3. Identufi current/potential problems and manage corrective actions to ensure key plant performance indicators are achieved.

  4. Identify and implement people initiatives that directly improve product quality and eliminate non-value added work to ensure cost effectiveness, product quality and safety ara achieved.
